Sulam for Emerging Leaders

Sulam for Emerging Leaders: (Re)Launched and (Re)Freshed

In its fourteenth year, this exciting program provides your community with an engagement plan to inspire participants to increase their connections within the synagogue, and to eventually seek a seat at the leadership table. Members of your congregation who have not yet stepped into governance positions but who demonstrate leadership potential are the ideal participants. The program deepens participants' commitment and connection to your synagogue community as it builds their personal Jewish growth, knowledge, and emerging leadership skills. Sulam for Emerging Leaders (SEL) is put into action within your congregation, and is led by a senior staff member and a training facilitator, modeling partnership and collaboration. USCJ provides the extensive curriculum and training but we consider this an empowered relationship where you can customize and augment the course. More than 1,800 new leaders have been energized and engaged and feel more deeply connected to their congregation by participating in this program.

Rabbi Michael Pont from Marlboro Jewish Center in NJ and Linda Sussman, USCJ Leadership Director in this one hour webinar will lead you through the innovative USCJ program.
