KOL TEFILLA 3.0 - SHABBATON AND CONFERENCE
This Year's Theme is: "Mah Zot? What Is This?"
Shabbaton and Conference in Los Angeles, CA January 31- February 2, 2020
~ 10:00am Friday - ~ 1:00pm Sunday
hosted in partnership with Temple Beth Am in Los Angeles, CA
Through the Torah of Parashat Bo, we will seek meaning together and ask the question of "mah zot?" What is this?: this spiritual practice, this davening routine, this way of feeling our hearts break open to new opportunity and enhanced experience.
The registration fee for the event is USD $150 per person.
Students: If cost is a barrier for current rabbinic or cantorial students, there may be funding available to support your attendance. Please contact Rabbi Hillary Chorny, Cantor with interest or questions.
TBA Members: If you wish to register for the weekend's events, please contact Rachel Sisk about special pricing for members of the host congregation.
It may be useful as you plan travel to know that the weekend will begin with an optional session around 10:00am on January 31, and the official opening session around 1:00pm that Friday afternoon, January 31.
The weekend will close on Sunday, February 2 around 1:00pm.
In order for participants to maximize the experience at Kol Tefilla, we recommend that return flights on Sunday be booked after 4:00pm Pacific.
Participants are invited to make their own, independent arrangements for weekend accommodations. Home hospitality may be available for those interested. Kindly complete this form if you are interested in being hosted by a Temple Beth Am family.
Additionally, please note that Kol Tefilla has not reserved hotel rooms, nor are recommendations being made for where participants should stay. We hope that you will feel free to enjoy staying wherever in Los Angeles you are comfortable.
For those interested in the closest accommodations to the host synagogue, however, the following hotels are located within a mile and a half walk from Temple Beth Am.
