USCJ is in the beginning stages of creating a model Congregational Code of Ethics (COE) that would apply to clergy, staff, lay leaders, and congregants alike. The goal is to assist congregations in strengthening a culture of safety and respect.
As part of this process - we would like to hear directly from congregations on how a COE may best serve them, what resources they may need from USCJ to help implement a COE, and what they would like to see USCJ offer to entice congregations into buying into a COE.
While anyone may participate in these conversations, USCJ is particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have some decision making power or can shepherd decision making processes within your congregation.
