Hannah Weiss z”l was a committed and driven USY alumna. As a USYer, she served on HaNegev Regional General Board, and as Regional and International Social Action/Tikun Olam Vice President. While she was a student at JTS, Hannah also served as a USY intern. Hannah was an engaging and dynamic leader, an empathetic soul, and a genuine friend to everyone she met. Hannah and her family tragically died in a plane crash in 2018. Hannah's passion for making the world a better place would shine through in everything she did, and we are honored to continue Hannah's work through our alumni Hannah Weiss z'l Mitzvah Month this May.
