Synagogue meetings can be places of collaboration, creativity, and shared purpose, but they can also become challenging when disagreements, strong personalities, or sensitive topics arise. This practical 90-minute workshop will explore foundational approaches to managing conflict in board, committee, and congregational settings. Participants will learn strategies for fostering respectful dialogue, navigating difficult conversations, responding constructively to tension, and helping meetings remain productive and mission-focused. Designed for synagogue leaders, clergy, staff, and volunteers, this session offers tools to build healthier communication and stronger communal relationships.
Register for either the daytime (2:00pm ET) or evening (8:00pm ET) session. This registration is for the EVENING SESSION.
Please note that this event has been rescheduled from July and will now be held on Wednesday, August 19th. You do not need to reregister if you have already signed up for the July event, and the Zoom links you received will remain the same.
