  more than 80 member units\, we invite you to inst
 ead participate in the small congregations leaders
 hip gathering the previous day\, designed for lead
 ers of synagogues like yours.)\n \n \n \n  \n \n \
 n \n This will be an interactive discussion and wi
 ll rely on your participation. Please come prepare
 d to share what takes place at your synagogue alon
 g with the desire to learn from others. Discussion
  questions might include:\n \n \n \n \n 	What perc
 entage of your synagogue’s income comes from dues?
  From Fundraising? From grants? From endowments/le
 gacy gifts? From investments? From programming?\n 
 	Has your congregation successfully received a gra
 nt? From who? How was it located? What did you lea
 rn from the experience?\n 	What special events suc
 cessfully net meaningful income and are designed t
 o do more than break-even?\n 	What is your most su
 ccessful fundraiser and why does it work?\n 	Who m
 ight be untapped donor groups and how do you reach
  them?\n 	What fears or misconceptions exist aroun
 d endowment-building or legacy giving?\n 	What doe
 s a successful model for lay-professional partners
 hip around income generation look like?\n 	In what
  kind of investments does or could your synagogue 
 engage?\n 	What skills or talents exist within you
 r membership that could generate income?\n 	How ca
 n community members open doors to donors and found
