Ohavay Zion Synagogue Stained Glass

Learn Torah, Live Torah, Pass it on with Love

Ohavay Zion Synagogue is a century old congregation in Lexington, Kentucky. Many of our member families have been in the community for multiple generations and play a variety of prominent civil, volunteer, and business roles here in Lexington. The synagogue is led by Rabbi Shani Abramowitz, a thoughtful, scholarly, and engaged leader who navigates the congregation through both the rhythm of the calendar year and the joys and sorrows of life-cycle events.
